GEO Prep Academy of Greater Baton Rouge is a free K-6 public charter school – adding a year each year. We are building a team of excellence. Our curriculum and our teaching methods are designed using Core Knowledge in K-8. We are a TAP school! We are committed to providing our students with instruction that is standards-based and challenging, that meets the needs of each individual student enrolled. GEO Next Generation High School, a free 9-12 public charter school, opened its doors in 2019. GEO Next Generation High School began with 9th grade and will add a grade each year over the subsequent three years. In GEO’s Early College model, students are able to take free college courses on a college campus for college credits, while simultaneously earning a high school diploma. GEO Next Generation High School is a part of a network of high quality charter schools managed by GEO Academies. It joins GEO Prep Academy and GEO Prep Mid-City, both K-8 schools, and demonstrates GEO’s commitment to delivering a high quality K-12 learning experience to parents and students in the Baton Rouge community.
